FINANCE DIRECTOR Job Description: The Finance Director will act as a business partner to the Marketing and Sales teams and will lead analyses with thoughtful recommendations on key decisions for the Nom Nom business. This role will also be responsible for timely and actionable periodic insights and KPIs, in addition to managing the planning and forecasting cycles for Nom Nom with key input on Royal Canin fresh portfolio. This role will also be expected to stand alone in cross-functional project teams to consult on decisions and effectively communicate insights and forward-looking planning to the CFO and Leadership Team. What are we looking for? Education and Professional Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting • 5+ years’ experience in a leadership role • Strong financial background, with full understanding and experience with financial models and analyses Knowledge/Experience • Experience in the manufacturing or consumer goods industries • Proficient in Excel modeling skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills What will be your key responsibilities? • Lead monthly reporting, KPI insights, and action planning across the business. Present a clear understanding of business drivers and collaborate across the business to drive actions to keep Nom Nom in line with plan commitments. • Develop a collaborative forecast process/S&OP valuation across all functions and provide a rolling view of risks and opportunities. Ensure the forecast process is the ‘one source of truth’ for volume and production planning that links to full P&L valuation. • Support long-term integrated value creation plan and Post Acquisition Review (PAR) as needed. • Support price/pack architecture strategy for Nom Nom and Royal Canin fresh innovation as we continue to build out our customer and channel strategy. • Finance lead for innovation projects supporting both Nom Nom and Royal Canin brands. Establish financial guardrails, stage gate go/no-go inputs, and innovation P&L development. • Competitive analysis across the industry to provide external lens and any risks or opportunities that might impact Nom Nom. • Interact with various departments within the organization to identify areas where more value can be added. • Ad hoc monthly reviews for the Leadership team within Nom Nom and Royal Canin • Analyze and track what impact certain business decisions will have on the company's margin. • Identify ways to increase revenue and maximize margins. • Assist with the implementation of business decisions on an operational level. • Contribute to a high performing finance team through engagement action planning, development, and role modeling the 5P’s.
