About the Role
We are looking for a Data Engineering Infrastructure Engineer to join Notion's team. This role focuses on maintaining and improving data pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring platform reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- →Manage and improve Terraform stacks for AWS and Snowflake resources
- →Harden CI/CD pipelines with alerting and deployment guardrails
- →Set up and maintain EMR clusters and track their health
- →Configure monitoring, alerting, and dashboards for observability
- →Triage DAG failures and infrastructure alerts during India hours
Requirements
- ✓7+ years as a software or infrastructure engineer with strong DevOps experience
- ✓Experience in data platform or infrastructure domains
- ✓Deep hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- ✓Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Hands-on cloud infrastructure experience (AWS preferred)
- ✓Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or another object-oriented language
- ✓Self-starter who can independently identify opportunities and execute with minimal direction
