Nscale is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead complex APAC Data Centre fit-out projects across Data Centre infrastructure buildouts and operations. You will be responsible for planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale infrastructure initiatives, coordinating across multiple teams, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned to business priorities.
This role is critical to ensuring that Nscaleβs global expansion and AI Data Centre delivery remain on track with strategic objectives.
Technical Project Manager (Data Centre Fit-out Projects)
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data centre deployments, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality infrastructure projects.
What You'll Be Doing
β’ Execute and manage GPU deployment projects from initiation to completion
β’ Lead cross-functional teamsβ effort to drive large-scale infrastructure deployments, relocations projects at data centres
β’ Deliver data centre built-up, fit-out large-scale projects with size of 20MW and above scale with deployment of GPU servers
β’ Create detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for assigned projects
β’ Coordinate the activities of engineering teams, contractors, and vendors during deployments
β’ Track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
β’ Ensure all equipment is installed according to Nscale standards and vendor specifications
β’ Manage project documentation, including installation guides, as-built records, and handover documentation
β’ Coordinate site access, delivery logistics, and on-site resources
β’ Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates accordingly
β’ Monitor project budgets and track expenses against forecasts
β’ Implement standardized deployment processes and contribute to process improvements
β’ Verify that installations meet power, cooling, and weight requirements of the Data Centre facilities
β’ Conduct quality assurance checks throughout the deployment process
β’ Facilitate the handover of completed deployments to operations teams
About You
β’ Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent
β’ At least 5-10 years of relevant Project Management experience in overseeing projects from implementation to managing multiple projects in Data Centre space across APAC regionally preferably
β’ Experience in delivering large scale projects over 20MW and deployment of large deployment of GPU servers
β’ Successfully managed end-to-end projects covering cabling, rack deployment, rPDU installation, cable basket systems, and hot aisle containment (HACs) and delivering infrastructure deployment projects on time and within budget is a must
β’ Implement standardized deployment processes to ensure consistency and quality
β’ Reduce deployment cycle times and improve efficiency
β’ Ensure all installed infrastructure meets technical specifications and performance requirements
β’ Maintain accurate and complete project documentation
β’ Build strong working relationships with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
β’ Identify and implement process improvements based on project experiences
β’ Support the overall program goals established
