About the Role

We are looking for a Content Writer to join our Brand & Communication team at Octopus Energy France. This role focuses on creating valuable content that appeals to both humans and algorithms, supporting our mission to provide cheaper and greener energy to all French people.

Key Responsibilities

→Write SEO-optimized content for websites and LLMs (Generative Engine Optimization)
→Audit and refresh existing content to maintain our position
→Produce blog articles, guides, and in-depth analyses to establish authority in the energy sector
→Write scripts for short video formats (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
→Participate in video shoots and represent the brand on camera
→Create help content for tutorials and customer assistance
→Highlight customer stories through personalized content
→Distribute content through various CRM channels and identify optimization opportunities

Requirements

✓Previous experience (internship or apprenticeship) preferably in a startup or rapidly growing company
✓Impeccable spelling and ability to adapt tone for different platforms
✓Strong marketing culture and understanding of what drives engagement
✓Allergic to routine and able to adapt to last-minute changes
✓Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
✓Insatiable curiosity and willingness to test new approaches
