About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Build Foundations team at Octopus Deploy. This role involves working on build systems, release pipelines, and internal tooling that support our Continuous Delivery solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build and improve internal tooling and modules in C# to help teams ship faster
- →Strengthen build and release pipelines for smooth and repeatable deployments
- →Improve reliability and operability through automation and observability
- →Partner with engineers across R&D to remove friction from workflows
- →Contribute to incident response and operational support
- →Work with tools like Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS
Requirements
- ✓Strong experience shipping production-quality C# applications
- ✓Experience automating builds, tests, deployments, and infrastructure
- ✓Comfort operating software in production and diagnosing issues
- ✓Practical experience with modern delivery and infrastructure practices
- ✓Good engineering judgment for making trade-offs
- ✓Clear communication in a remote-first environment
- ✓Ownership and responsibility for tasks
