About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Business Analyst Intern to join the Growth Product Marketing team at Okta. This role involves using data to drive evidence-based decisions and generating insights on product performance, customer segments, and go-to-market efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop Insightful Reports: Analyze historical data across sales funnels, marketing activities, product usage, customer feedback, and market trends.
- →Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product marketing, sales, sales enablement, marketing, and product management to gather data and align on business goals.
- →Market Opportunity Sizing: Estimate the addressable market for proposed initiatives and evaluate them based on potential business impact.
- →Curate Targeted Outreach Lists: Build high-value prospect lists using internal and external data sources.
- →Performance Measurement: Track KPIs across product performance, outbound sales programs, and marketing activities using data visualization and CRM reporting tools.
Requirements
- ✓Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (Dec. 2026 or May/June 2027 graduate) with a background in Marketing, Finance, Business Analytics, Management Science, Cognitive Science, Psychology, or a related field.
- ✓Experienced in merging data from disparate sources across technology platforms.
- ✓Exposure to data visualization and analysis tools such as Tableau, Looker, Excel, and Google Sheets.
- ✓Strong critical thinking skills and curiosity to understand evolving company priorities and market needs.
- ✓Identifies appropriate business outcomes and connects them to go-to-market initiatives.
- ✓Demonstrates attention to detail, is highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- ✓Collaborates effectively with diverse cross-functional teams and helps to manage various projects.
- ✓Navigates ambiguity and makes thoughtful recommendations by identifying key assumptions and leveraging available information.
