About the Role
We are looking for a Solution Sales Engineer to join our team at Okta, The Worldβs Identity Company. This role involves advising Fortune 500 customers on using Oktaβs Identity Platform, developing sales presentations, and conducting product demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities
- βCollaborate with account executives to develop and execute territory and account strategies
- βConduct research and discovery to understand customer requirements
- βExecute the delivery of POCs for customers with complex use cases
- βCraft technical content to show customers how to implement specific use cases
- βPrepare and deliver demos to showcase how the Okta platform meets customerβs business needs
- βDistill and communicate customer needs and product feedback to various teams
Requirements
- β5+ years of pre-sales engineering experience
- βPassion to serve customers in a customer-facing role
- βAbility to communicate complex technical concepts effectively
- βStrong understanding of Identity & Access Management (IAM)
- βExperience with SSO, MFA, SCIM, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and LDAP
- βUnderstanding of Zero Trust Architecture and core security concerns
- βHands-on experience in web, mobile, or backend development
- βExperience with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
- βBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or a comparable field
