About the Role

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our team at Okta, The World’s Identity Company. This role involves connecting with customers throughout their development lifecycle, building sales presentations, and educating customers on cloud security and Identity and Access Management.

Key Responsibilities

→Involve in all stages of the customer’s development lifecycle and connect with customers using presentations, email, phone, and social media
→Build sales presentations, product demonstrations, and educate customers on the best ways to cloud security technology
→Empathize with customers and quickly discern their true technical needs by asking detailed and clarifying questions
→Present solutions that target those needs using technical savviness and business insights

Requirements

✓A passion to serve the customer, ideally in a customer-facing role like consulting, support, or sales engineering
✓An ability to quickly communicate complex ideas around a technical topic
✓Experience with at least one standard network security protocol (e.g., OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP)
✓Experience in identity governance and administration (IGA)
✓Experience in Privilege Access Management (PAM)
✓An understanding of core security concerns within a typical application
✓Excellent communication skills and an ability to articulate business value
✓Fluency in Italian and English
✓An ability to disperse knowledge to a highly skilled and experienced audience
✓Enjoy travel and meeting customers - Typically 10-25%
