About the Role
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our award-winning in-house agency at OLIVER. This role focuses on driving social-first strategies for major personal care brands, managing social conversations for some of the world's leading brands, and creating engaging content that makes these brands stand out.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and implement social-first content strategies for assigned personal care brands
- →Develop and implement always-on approaches across paid and organic channels
- →Identify and leverage cultural moments to maximize brand relevance
- →Work with insights teams to identify trends and inform creative direction
- →Manage social communities and anchor brands in relevant conversations
- →Collaborate with in-house content creators and GenAI designers to develop and optimize scalable content
- →Monitor content creation and optimization across multiple social platforms
- →Implement messaging hierarchies for social communities
- →Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines while remaining culturally relevant
- →Receive client briefings, challenge them, and support brief development
- →Coordinate with the Personal Care Centre of Excellence team and share highlights and results for your market
- →Assist in creating tone-of-voice guidelines for FAQs and copy on the brand's social channels
- →Support the development of social channel strategy workstreams
- →Plan and create social content calendars
- →Present content ideas and the social strategy of the brand to clients
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience in social media management for consumer brands
- ✓Native-level German (C2) and fluent in English (oral and written)
- ✓Strong understanding of social-first content development
- ✓Creative flair, excellent written communication skills, and outstanding copywriting
- ✓Solid expertise in video content creation (TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts)
- ✓Experience or familiarity with AI-assisted tools for content creation and optimization
- ✓Solid knowledge of best practices and new trends on social platforms
- ✓Excellent project management and stakeholder communication skills
- ✓Understanding of social listening and trend identification
- ✓Experience in managing influencer marketing campaigns
- ✓Ability to analyze social performance data and optimize accordingly
- ✓Knowledge in planning and implementing paid social campaigns
- ✓Cultural awareness and strong trend-sensing ability
- ✓Ability to work well under pressure
- ✓Ideally, experience and understanding in FMCG/Beauty/Personal Care categories
- ✓Strong stakeholder management skills across departments
- ✓Knowledge of social commerce and conversion strategies
- ✓Experience in managing multiple brand voices simultaneously
