About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Copywriter to join our team at OLIVER, a specialist in designing and running bespoke in-house agencies for brands. This role involves creating stunning and effective content and digital media campaigns for leading brands in the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities
- →Write, research, and conceptualize creative content that brings readership and encourages sharing
- →Write short and long form articles
- →Repurpose existing content for different uses
- →Master a variety of brand voices
- →Work closely with clients to create strong concepts from initial briefing through to execution
- →Set tone and drive creativity, working closely with the Creative Director-Copy and Data Strategists
- →Maintain a high awareness of relevant trending topics and news to identify content opportunities
- →Be responsible for working with internal teams to gather input and validate the content
- →Ensure consistency and quality across all written content
- →Present and articulate concepts to clients
Requirements
- ✓A minimum of 4-5 years of full-time experience in writing for digital
- ✓Comfortable creating content with SEO in mind
- ✓Experience working on content for multiple platforms- Social Media, Ecomm, Video Films, Performance, SEO, influencer
- ✓Social Media Savvy – knows how to build online communities and engage with customers with creative copies
- ✓Passionate about fashion, beauty, lifestyle with a strong aesthetic sense
- ✓Background in a corporate or journalism environment
- ✓Thorough understanding of the language and needs inherent to writing for FMCG & beauty brands
- ✓Experience of publishing through social media channels and content management systems
- ✓Powerful grasp of how content can play out across multiple mediums
- ✓Able to use data and insight to inform creative
- ✓Flair for words
- ✓Ability to think conceptually when needed
- ✓Demonstrated ability to combine and translate complex material from different sources and contexts into stories and content that engage and resonate with target audiences
- ✓Confident presenting and communicating clearly to other team members and clients
- ✓Passion for and inquisitive about AI and new technologies
- ✓Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial, but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
