Role: Social Media Specialist
Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
About the role:
This is an opportunity to join OLIVER's in-house studio embedded with a leading global sportswear brand, as a Social Media Executive delivering B2C social content and community management across the brand's key channels in Vietnam.
Based in Vietnam, you'll be the driving force behind how the brand connects with its Vietnamese audience across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and dedicated community Facebook groups. Working closely with the in-house creative team, you'll translate global and regional toolkits into locally resonant content — managing everything from content calendar development and client presentations to daily channel operations and monthly performance reporting.
We support flexible working and are open to different arrangements. We offer reasonable adjustments throughout the process.
The Social Media Executive is responsible for bringing the brand to life across its social ecosystem in Vietnam. You'll work from regional toolkits and content calendars, adapting them for the local market while developing original BAU and campaign content ideas alongside the creative team. Day-to-day, you'll own the scheduling, publishing, and community management of all live channels — monitoring conversations, responding in real time, and enforcing brand guidelines across all internal and partner touchpoints. You'll also produce monthly performance reports, translating platform data into clear, actionable insights that inform future activity.
This role suits someone who is deeply attuned to the Vietnamese social landscape, genuinely curious about consumer behaviour, and comfortable managing both creative and operational responsibilities at pace.
What you will be doing:
• Create and curate engaging B2C social content across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and dedicated community Facebook groups, drawing on supplied regional toolkits and content calendars
• Collaborate with the in-house creative team to develop monthly BAU content calendars and generate ideas for local campaign content
• Build and own a localised content calendar tailored to the Vietnam market — including product launches, seasonal moments, and market-specific scheduling
• Bring a social-first perspective to upcoming campaigns, content themes, and brand initiatives, contributing ideas that are relevant to the local audience
• Present content calendars to brand stakeholders as required, gathering feedback and actioning revisions clearly and promptly
• Own the scheduling and posting of all approved content across relevant social platforms
• Uphold and enforce brand social guidelines, both internally and with external partners
• Monitor social conversations across all channels, publish responsive content, and manage the daily operations of each platform
• Produce monthly social reports with platform data analysis, performance insights, and clear recommendations for optimisation
What you need to be great in this role:
• Proven experience managing brand social media accounts across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok in a B2C context
• Strong instinct for what content works — and the analytical skills to back it up with data
• Experience developing content calendars for both BAU and campaign activity, with the ability to juggle multiple workstreams
• Confident adapting regional and global toolkits for local market relevance without losing brand consistency
• Comfortable presenting to client stakeholders and responding to feedback constructively
• Experience with social media scheduling and management tools
• Skilled in social monitoring, community management, and reactive content publishing
• Professional proficiency in Vietnamese and English
Nice to have:
• Background working with sports, lifestyle, or fashion brands
• Familiarity with community-led brand programmes and activations
• Experience working within an in-house or embedded agency model
Gen AI & Agentic Thinking:
• Proficiency with Gen AI tools relevant to social media content creation, to enhance output quality and efficiency
• Experience building personal AI workflows to improve content development and planning processes
• Agentic approach to content calendar management and problem-solving — able to break down complex briefs and find efficient paths to delivery
• Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs and apply human judgment to protect brand voice and quality
Qualifications:
• Formal degrees are welcome but not required. Equivalent experience counts. Experience can be gained through work, study, volunteering, or self-directed learning.
• If you're excited about this role but don't meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply.
