About the Role
We are looking for a Global Distribution Systems Specialist to join our Customer Service desk team. This role involves managing back office tasks in Global Distribution Systems and providing support to frontline agents regarding air travel processes and policies.
Key Responsibilities
- →Quote voluntary and involuntary changes, rebooking and reissuing air tickets
- →Work with GDS/NDC/consolidator systems queues and take action when necessary
- →Handle refund requests and follow-ups settled via BSP platform
- →Report airline policy changes or updates to line manager/supervisor
- →Monitor Omio air internal queues in ticketing system and internal communication channels
- →Contact airlines by email and phone when applicable
- →Support frontline by reading and quoting customer requests for AIR bookings
- →Perform other duties as required
Requirements
- ✓Experience with Global Distribution Systems (Amadeus, Travelport, Sabre)
- ✓Knowledge of NDC and consolidator systems
- ✓Familiarity with BSP platform for refund processing
- ✓Strong communication skills in English
- ✓Ability to follow internal handling guidelines
