About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Test Automation Engineer to join our Quality Platform Engineering team at Onebrief. This role focuses on enhancing our release process and release integrity, driving automation-first initiatives, and establishing quality metrics and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define and implement strategies that improve release integrity through automation in CI/CD pipelines
- →Design and instrument quality health metrics and dashboards for product stability and release readiness
- →Drive internal tooling initiatives to improve developer experience and enable teams to test with higher confidence
- →Partner across engineering, infrastructure, and product to identify system-level quality improvements
- →Use data and experimentation to refine our approach to quality and focus on impactful areas
- →Develop quality measures that align with overall quality strategy, focusing on monitoring and observability
Requirements
- ✓7+ years of experience building and maintaining test automation for complex web applications
- ✓Strong technical foundation in release management, automation frameworks, and CI/CD systems
- ✓Experience driving shift-left quality practices that improve code quality and deployment confidence
- ✓Hands-on experience with performance, resilience, and security testing
- ✓Experience building internal tools or developer utilities that enhance testability and release integrity
- ✓Strong understanding of API quality, including contract validation and dependency testing
- ✓Demonstrated ability to mentor and influence engineers on quality ownership and best practices
- ✓Excellent collaboration and communication skills
