Product Overview
The team is building high-traffic Shopify stores for one of the worldβs largest music companies, powering merch and digital storefronts for major artists around the world.
This is a chance to work on complex, large-scale eCommerce experiences with real visibility and impact - helping shape how millions of fans discover, shop, and engage with artist brands globally.

Role Overview
This is a hybrid design-and-build role for someone who can both craft polished, conversion-focused user experiences in Figma and bring them to life inside Shopify themes. You will work on high-traffic eCommerce experiences for globally recognized artist and merch stores, translating complex business requirements into intuitive, scalable storefront solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong product thinking, visual design sensitivity, and practical Shopify implementation skills.
WHAT YOUβLL DO
- Turn business and product requirements into clear user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
- Design elegant, user-friendly eCommerce experiences across storefront, merchandising, and conversion journeys
- Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid and modern front-end practices
- Create scalable theme sections, theme blocks, and reusable storefront components
- Contribute to checkout and customer account experiences where relevant
- Collaborate closely with product managers, architects, and developers in an Agile environment
- Write clean, accessible, maintainable code and contribute to a high standard of delivery
- Help improve overall storefront performance, usability, and maintainability
- Support data and tracking implementation through structured frontend work and event thinking
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Recruiters should only submit candidates if the following is clearly visible in the resume:
- 8+ years of total experience can be considered, but 10+ years is preferred
- Ideally the last 3β5 years focused on Shopify
- At least 4β5+ years of dedicated Shopify experience preferred
- Strong professional background in UI/UX design
- Experience working as a designer or designer-developer hybrid
- Preferably agency background, Shopify Plus projects, or direct client Shopify work
- Experience in large-scale, international eCommerce environments is highly valuable
SHOPIFY EXPERIENCE MUST BE SPECIFIC
The resume should clearly mention real Shopify ecosystem work, not generic statements.
Candidates should reference specific areas such as:
- theme development
- theme sections / theme blocks
- metafields
- bundles
- subscriptions
- theme customization
- performance optimization
- section rendering
- storefront UX improvements
If the candidate worked in companies or agencies where Shopify is not part of the stack, the profile should not be submitted.
