About the Role

We are looking for a Creative Director, Launches to lead the creative thinking behind major product and company moments at OpenAI. This role focuses on shaping launch narratives that are clear, compelling, and culturally resonant across diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

→Lead and shape storytelling across launches and campaigns, owning narrative direction from strategy through execution
→Translate product strategy into big ideas, launch stories, and messaging frameworks that work across multiple audiences
→Develop campaign concepts and story arcs that align with brand strategy
→Partner deeply with creative teams to bring ideas to life across various media
→Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistency and impact

Requirements

✓12+ years of experience leading creative storytelling for launches, campaigns, or brand initiatives
✓Senior-level creative leadership with experience owning narrative strategy in fast-paced environments
✓Deep fluency in product storytelling and translating complexity into clear, human language
✓Strong conceptual thinking with exceptional craft and excellent sense of voice, tone, and structure
