About the Role
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join OpenAI’s Identity team. You will build user-facing experiences that make secure access to OpenAI simple and trustworthy for organizations. This role involves designing and implementing core identity flows such as sign-in, account management, permissions, and admin experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build scalable, reusable frontend components for core identity experiences
- →Partner with backend and security engineers to deliver end-to-end identity capabilities
- →Translate complex authentication systems into intuitive interfaces
- →Help define frontend architecture and standards for a shared identity platform
- →Build internal tools for identity and access control management
- →Collaborate with Product, Design, Security, and Go-To-Market partners
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of frontend engineering experience with production-grade web applications
- ✓Deep expertise in frontend frameworks, performance optimization, and UI systems
- ✓Experience with SSO, RBAC, and identity federation
- ✓Ability to work with cross-functional teams to shape user-centered solutions
- ✓Experience evolving or re-architecting production systems
- ✓Strong focus on user experience and crafting trustworthy interfaces
- ✓Ability to thrive in fast-moving environments with evolving priorities
