About the Role
The Applied Foundations team at OpenAI is dedicated to ensuring that our cutting-edge technology is secure from adversarial threats. We maintain platform integrity as they scale, defending against financial abuse and other forms of misuse.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and build scaled foundational systems for detecting, tracking, and enforcing harm using our technologies
- →Work closely with technical and non-technical experts to inform designs and implementation
- →Leverage OpenAI’s advanced technologies to automate and augment abilities to detect complex harms
- →Collaborate with policy, trust and safety operations, legal, investigations, and harm-specialized teams
- →Stay abreast of latest techniques and tools to combat abusive actors and customers
Requirements
- ✓At least 5 years of software engineering experience in backend and data systems
- ✓At least 2 years experience in trust and safety analysis, investigation, or operations
- ✓Strong talent for sharing information clearly and concisely with others
- ✓Comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing conditions
- ✓Experience in Machine Learning techniques is a plus
