About the Role
We are looking for a QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing the quality of our software products through automated testing.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Pytest for backend testing and Cypress/Playwright for frontend testing
- →Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for backend services
- →Conduct API testing to ensure high-quality integration and robustness of system interactions
- →Develop and maintain performance testing suites to ensure application scalability and responsiveness
- →Collaborate with development teams to incorporate quality assurance measures from the initial stages
- →Analyze test results, report on test execution, and track defects
- →Enhance and maintain the automation framework to support CI/CD processes
- →Participate in code reviews and design discussions to ensure high-quality standards
- →Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends in software testing
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- ✓3-4 years of experience in QA testing with a strong focus on automation in API
- ✓At least 2 years of experience in Cypress/Playwright
- ✓Proficient with Pytest and scripting in Python
- ✓Experienced in API testing and using tools such as Postman
- ✓Experience with database testing, including SQL and familiarity with database technologies
- ✓Perform thorough regression testing and ensure CI/CD practices are followed
- ✓Hands-on experience with performance testing tools and methodologies
- ✓Proficient with modern frontend testing frameworks such as Cypress and Playwright
- ✓Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI
- ✓Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- ✓Strong verbal and written communication skills
