About the Role
OpenX is seeking a visionary Director of Product Design to join their Product leadership team. This role is responsible for establishing a best-in-class UX and product design practice within the organization, transforming complex AdTech workflows into intuitive tools for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Elevate the UX Practice: Evangelize user-centered design principles and establish design systems.
- →Lead Design Strategy: Define and execute the UX vision for all OpenX products.
- →Team Leadership & Growth: Manage, mentor, and inspire a growing team of Product Designers.
- →Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing.
- →User Research & Validation: Gather data-driven feedback to inform design approach.
- →Simplify Complexity: Break down intricate programmatic advertising concepts into clear interfaces.
- →Design Approachable AI: Guide the application of AI to improve user experience.
Requirements
- ✓10+ years of experience in UX/Product Design, with at least 4+ years in leadership.
- ✓Deep understanding of the AdTech landscape (DSP, SSP, Programmatic) or experience designing for complex B2B enterprise platforms.
- ✓Strong portfolio demonstrating expert capability in user-centered design processes.
- ✓Proven track record of building and managing high-performing design teams.
- ✓Mastery of modern design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe CS).
- ✓Solid understanding of front-end development principles (HTML/CSS/React).
- ✓Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills.
