The Position At OPSWAT, we’re on a mission to protect the world’s most critical infrastructure. As a U.S.-based cybersecurity leader, we’re expanding our R&D footprint in Hungary — and we’re looking for a Software Engineer Intern to join our team working on one of our most strategic solutions: MetaDefender Managed File Transfer. MetaDefender Managed File Transfer is OPSWAT’s secure, policy-driven file transfer solution designed to provide enterprise-grade protection, automation, and oversight for file workflows. Trusted by governments and global organizations, we are at the heart of secure data movement — and we’re expanding its future in Veszprém. You’ll take part in designing and building the backend services that power our secure file transfer platform, working closely with engineers, security experts, and researchers. As part of our cybersecurity-focused company, you will play a crucial role in testing cutting-edge software solutions aimed at protecting critical infrastructure from cyber threats. Your work will make a real impact — defending the digital front lines of industries, governments, and essential systems around the world. You Will Have The Opportunity to • Collaborate with a diverse and skilled team of engineers, security experts and researchers. • Contribute to AI-driven features that enhance data processing, analysis, and automation within the platform. • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following established coding standards and development methodologies. • Actively participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and retrospectives, to contribute to team goals and deliver high-quality software products.
