About the Role

We are looking for a Network Engineer to join Orion Innovation, a global business and technology services firm. This role involves deployment and operations of network hardware in IT infrastructure, with a focus on digital strategy and engineering.

Key Responsibilities

→Deployment and Operations of the network hardware in the IT infrastructure
→New implementations, expansion, and support of NX-OS and IOS Catalyst switches and routers in Data Centers
→Working on Routing Protocols (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF) and Switching Protocols (STP, RSTP, VRRP, HSRP)
→Strong experience in medium/large scale enterprise networks
→Network and security knowledge on Cisco/Arista products
→Strong network troubleshooting skills from layer 1-7
→Experience with Cisco ASR, ISR Series routers, Cisco A9K Series routers
→Working knowledge on various Network OS (Cisco IOS, IOS-XE, NXOS, IOS-XR)
→Coordinating with hardware vendors in configuration and troubleshooting
→Daily reporting of IOS upgrade of all devices and implementing Audit recommendations
→Installation, configuration, and strong troubleshooting experience in AAA, TACACS+, SNMP, and Access Lists
→Strong knowledge of Troubleshooting in Switches and edge Routers on EBGP and IBGP
→Knowledge in ITIL Management and approval process
→Experience in Firewall management on next-gen tools and configuration process
→Strong knowledge in F5 Load balancers and its traffic management process
→Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including patches, hot fixes, and configurations fine-tuning
→Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues within SLA
→Communicate effectively with internal and external audiences with varying levels of technical expertise
→Maintains high quality customer service to internal and external groups when needed
