About the Role
Orion Innovation is seeking a User Acceptance Tester to join their team. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and validating software functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and user stories
- →Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality
- →Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues
- →Document and report bugs, errors, and other issues found during testing
- →Work closely with developers and project managers to ensure timely resolution of identified issues
- →Participate in user acceptance testing sessions to gather feedback and validate software against user requirements
- →Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing methodologies
- →Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- ✓Proven experience as a User Acceptance Tester or similar role
- ✓Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
- ✓Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- ✓Prior client experience is a plus
