Role Summary
The Senior Business Analyst plays a critical role in AI‑led audit transformation programs, acting as the bridge between audit business stakeholders and technology teams. The role focuses on defining, validating, and governing business and functional requirements for AI‑enabled audit, risk, and compliance platforms, ensuring solutions are explainable, controlled, auditable, and aligned with regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with audit, risk, and advisory stakeholders to understand audit methodologies, regulatory requirements, and AI transformation objectives.
• Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non‑functional requirements for AI‑enabled audit platforms.
• Define AI‑driven use cases across the audit lifecycle, including intelligent analysis, automation, anomaly detection, insights, and agent‑based workflows.
• Translate audit and AI requirements into clear user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, data teams, and engineering teams to ensure AI requirements align with solution architecture and technical feasibility.
• Ensure requirements address AI governance needs, including data inputs, controls, explainability, traceability, and auditability.
• Support design and architecture reviews to validate that AI capabilities meet audit, compliance, and risk standards.
• Maintain end‑to‑end requirements traceability from discovery through build, testing, and deployment.
• Support UAT planning, validation of AI outputs, and business sign‑off, including confidence in AI‑assisted decisions.
• Facilitate client workshops to validate AI use cases, operating models, and adoption readiness.
Required Skills & Experience
Domain & Functional Expertise
• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst in enterprise or consulting environments.
• Strong exposure to Audit, Accounting, Risk, or Compliance processes (Big Four experience strongly preferred).
• Deep experience in requirements elicitation, user story definition, and functional documentation.
• Strong understanding of audit lifecycle processes and control frameworks.
AI & Data Capabilities
• Hands‑on experience working on AI‑enabled or data‑driven audit solutions.
• Strong understanding of AI integration into business workflows, including automation, intelligent analytics, and agent‑based execution.
• Ability to define requirements for AI governance, including data quality, explainability, transparency, bias considerations, and audit trails.
• Experience validating AI outputs against business rules, controls, and audit expectations.
• Good understanding of data concepts, data flows, and reporting used in audit contexts.
Delivery & Collaboration
• Experience working closely with Solution Architects, developers, QA, and data teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile / SDLC delivery models.
• Excellent client‑facing communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in governance‑heavy, regulated environments.

• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills, especially around AI‑assisted decision‑making.
