About the Role
We are looking for a strong and experienced Java API Developer to join Orion Innovation, a global business and technology services firm. This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend services.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based backend applications.
- →Build and enhance microservices using the Spring Framework (Spring Boot).
- →Design and develop RESTful APIs and ensure proper documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI.
- →Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for PostgreSQL databases.
- →Implement and maintain unit tests using JUnit to ensure code quality.
- →Participate in CI/CD pipeline implementation and support automated builds and deployments.
- →Develop and deploy cloud-native applications leveraging Microsoft Azure services.
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
- →Follow best practices in coding, security, performance, and maintainability.
Requirements
- ✓6+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- ✓3+ years of experience with Spring Framework and Microservices architecture.
- ✓Strong experience in REST API design and development.
- ✓Hands-on experience with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.
- ✓Proficiency in PostgreSQL and writing complex SQL queries.
- ✓Experience with JUnit for unit testing.
- ✓Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- ✓Experience building and deploying applications on Azure Cloud.
