About the Role
We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join Outpost, a company building the AI global trade engine. This role is for someone who wants to define the voice and visual identity of a category-defining company.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own the full content lifecycle: ideation, scripting, filming, editing, and distribution.
- →Translate complex fintech concepts into engaging hooks and visual stories.
- →Manage our presence across LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and emerging platforms.
- →Develop the long-term social strategy that moves the needle on inbound interest.
- →Identify and engage with key voices in the fintech, e-commerce, and VC ecosystems.
- →Experiment with new formats - video, threads, visual essays, to see what resonates.
- →Own the conversation. Respond to trends, engage with followers, and build a community of advocates.
Requirements
- ✓Social media or content role at a high-growth startup (fintech or e-commerce is a plus).
- ✓A portfolio that shows you can write and create (video editing, basic design, sharp copy).
- ✓Experience building an audience from 0 to 1, either for a brand or yourself.
- ✓You understand the nuances of B2B social, you know how to be professional without being boring.
- ✓You are a "unit of one." You can pick up a camera, write a script, and hit "post" without an agency.
- ✓You have high taste. You know what looks good and what feels "cringe."
- ✓You’re comfortable with ambiguity. We don’t have a social playbook yet; you’ll write it.
- ✓Bias for action. You’d rather post and learn than over-analyze for a week.
