About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Frontend Engineer to join the Orchestration and Task Flow team at Outreach. This role involves shaping how modern sales workflows are designed, visualized, and executed, leading the architecture and implementation of rich client experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner with product managers, designers, and analysts to understand how sellers use Outreach workflows and build experiences that improve outcomes.
- →Lead frontend design and implementation for highly visible experiences such as Tasks, Sequences, and the new VisualAgentBuilder.
- →Work closely with client platform and shared frontend infrastructure to ensure experiences are consistent, performant, accessible, observable, and scalable.
- →Set technical direction for the team’s frontend architecture and help shape the engineering vision for an enterprise-grade workflow platform.
- →Prototype and validate new concepts quickly before investing in full solutions.
- →Identify the best return on investment for customer pain points with a focus on measurable improvements.
- →Improve the team and company by mentoring other engineers, driving technical reviews, interviewing candidates, and leading initiatives that raise the bar for frontend quality.
- →Own relationships with partner engineering teams and collaborate with product, design, and go-to-market stakeholders to deliver end-to-end workflow solutions.
Requirements
- ✓6+ years of professional software development experience, with significant time spent building modern, user-facing web applications.
- ✓Proven success developing and shipping large-scale web applications, with strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and React.
- ✓Experience working within a modern frontend ecosystem, including bundlers/build tools, test runners, and API/GraphQL clients.
- ✓Exposure to cloud-based service architectures and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
- ✓Familiarity with experimentation and analytics tooling and using telemetry to inform UI decisions.
- ✓Proven track record of senior or staff-level technical leadership in a strong engineering culture.
- ✓Ability to set and uphold technical and cultural standards for frontend engineering.
