About the Role
We are looking for a Field Application Engineer to join our Customer Delivery team at Outsight. This role involves serving as the primary technical contact for deploying our Spatial Intelligence Platform solutions in public spaces and smart infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities
- →Serve as the primary technical contact for deploying solutions in public spaces and smart infrastructures
- →Lead product installations and manage customer feedback
- →Analyze and resolve technical issues, contributing to product improvement
- →Ensure customer satisfaction by developing and delivering training materials
- →Generate new sales opportunities by identifying stakeholders and providing insights to the sales team
- →Collaborate with other teams such as sales, marketing, and product development
Requirements
- ✓Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Industrial, Automotive, or Mechanical Engineering—or equivalent practical experience
- ✓Minimum 3 years in a similar role, demonstrating effective project ownership, client-facing support, and technical engagement
- ✓Proficient in Linux systems with the ability to independently deploy, configure, and troubleshoot software solutions
- ✓Strong problem-solving mindset and autonomous troubleshooting skills
- ✓Clear communicator with the ability to simplify and explain complex technical issues
- ✓Solid IT and networking fundamentals (e.g., routing, firewalls, TCP/IP)
- ✓Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative startup setting
- ✓Willing and able to travel for on-site deployments and client support
