About the Role
Join the Platform engineering team at Outsight to ensure the reliability, scalability, and automated deployment of the Data Layer for our Shift Cloud Platform. This critical system processes 3D LiDAR object change events captured and tracked by our perception engine, delivering spatial intelligence to global airport operators and other customers.
Key Responsibilities
- →Automate deployment and testing of data pipelines using modern CI/CD practices
- →Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for the AWS cloud data platform
- →Design, implement, and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging systems
- →Proactively optimize and tune the data platform for cost, performance, and reliability
- →Operate and maintain the real-time and historical data layer
- →Work closely with data engineers to standardize operational procedures
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of hands-on experience in DataOps, SRE, or similar operational role
- ✓Expertise in IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation) for AWS data services
- ✓Strong experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for data applications
- ✓Proficiency with orchestration tools like Airflow, Temporal, or Kubeflow
- ✓Deep experience with monitoring and logging solutions
- ✓Operational knowledge of stream processing technologies
- ✓Familiarity with ELT tools (dbt) and SQL
