About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the 3-person Unity Simulation team at Outsight. This role combines hands-on technical architecture and development with people management, focusing on the Shift Simulator, a core component of our Spatial Intelligence platform.
Key Responsibilities
- βLead and manage the 3-person Unity Simulation team
- βOversee project execution and technical roadmap
- βAct as the primary bridge between the development team, 3D artists, and designers
- βDefine, design, and restructure the Unity C# codebase
- βEnsure the simulatorβs performance meets our internal 60 FPS target
- βDrive the development of new features, including realistic vehicles and crowd simulation
Requirements
- β5+ years of experience in software development, including 2+ years in 3D development, simulation, or gaming with Unity
- βExpertise in Unity and C# with a deep understanding of object-oriented design
- βExperience with Unity API for UI development and AI Navigation System
- β2+ years of experience in team leadership and managing technical roadmaps
- βBachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
