About the Role
We are looking for a PHP Developer to join one of our product teams at Ovoko, a fast-growing e-commerce startup in Europe. You will be responsible for writing well-structured, documented code following modern software development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- βWrite clean, tested, and well-documented code that delivers value to customers
- βFollow established patterns and approaches within the existing codebase
- βImplement new features and functionalities needed for the company
- βCollaborate with team members to complete shared goals and deliver quality code-based solutions
- βTroubleshoot, test, and maintain our core application and databases
Requirements
- β2+ years of experience in PHP programming and its frameworks (Symfony or Laravel)
- βUnderstanding of OOP principles and good code design
- βExperience in writing different types of tests and working with relational databases
- βPrevious experience in building scalable web applications
- βCuriosity to find out how things work
- βNot afraid to investigate and find technical solutions to everyday business problems
- βFluent spoken and written English language skills
