About the Role
We are looking for a Principal Product Designer to join Palmetto, a leading clean tech company accelerating the transition to clean energy. You will create world-class user experiences for our customers, working closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop simple and effective product experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- →Solve customer problems and drive desired behavior through holistic design thinking
- →Drive high-quality experiences by combining elegant UX and beautiful UI
- →Build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn insights into well-designed products
- →Lead the end-to-end design process for major features in Palmetto Finance and LightReach experiences
- →Encourage, coach, and provide constructive feedback to produce successful outcomes
Requirements
- ✓8-10 years of experience designing and delivering mobile and web applications in cross-functional technology companies
- ✓Extraordinary visual and user interface design skills, along with user-centered design principles
- ✓Strong communication skills and the ability to rally people around a solution/design
- ✓Deep understanding of the product development process, from product thinking to visual and experience design
- ✓Experience with B2B products, complex processes, and data visualization is highly desired
- ✓Experience designing systems in Figma
- ✓Experience with motion design and animation
- ✓Designing or maintaining product Design Systems, Component Libraries, and Design Tokens
- ✓Experience with brand design
