About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager for Palmetto Capital, our financing division. This role involves owning end-to-end product strategy and execution for consumer financing business segments, with product ownership of core technical components powering origination, underwriting, onboarding, and servicing.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive the product roadmap for financing origination and servicing platform components
- →Manage and prioritize the product backlog with engineering and stakeholders
- →Own OKRs that connect team work to business objectives
- →Evaluate and evolve product strategy based on data and market signals
- →Identify solutions that drive growth in solar + storage and home improvement financing
- →Enable integration with external platforms to accelerate growth
- →Develop expertise in customer segments through research and analysis
- →Translate customer insights into problem definitions and solutions
- →Balance commercial and technical perspectives when making decisions
- →Build relationships with stakeholders across operations, business development, and other teams
- →Influence prioritization and action across teams without direct authority
- →Deploy modern product development practices including discovery, validation, and iteration
- →Identify and apply AI-powered tools to improve productivity and data usage
Requirements
- ✓7–10 years of product management experience in consumer finance or adjacent domains
- ✓Background in B2B home improvement, solar, or consumer financial products preferred
- ✓Experience at a high-growth startup or during product portfolio scaling
- ✓Proven track record owning roadmaps and shipping products independently
- ✓Deep fluency with platform workflows, API integrations, and decisioning systems
- ✓Strong analytical orientation with experience defining metrics and using data for decisions
- ✓Experience running experiments and learning from failure
- ✓High-EQ communication and influence skills
- ✓Bias toward action and hands-on approach
- ✓Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable building from scratch
