About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our cross-dock WMS team at Pattern, a fast-growing company that accelerates brands on global ecommerce marketplaces. This role focuses on developing and maintaining the core components of our "Shelf" platform, which powers warehouse operations and manages inventory and fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and maintain foundational components of our "Shelf" platform, an internal system that manages all aspects of warehouse inventory and fulfillment.
- →Work with a team of front end and back end engineers and operational leaders to understand and build solutions for new projects.
- →Dedicate time to "hardening" the software, proactively fixing root causes of recurring issues during your on-call rotation.
- →Tackle a wide range of backend challenges to maintain and improve the system's scalability and stability.
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- ✓Strong proficiency in a modern backend language like Ruby, Node.js, Java, Python, or Go.
- ✓Experience with React is a must.
- ✓SQL expertise is a must, with experience in databases like PostgreSQL.
- ✓Experience working in AWS.
- ✓Knowledge of Ruby on Rails is a plus but not required.
- ✓A go-getter attitude with a passion for learning and taking on new challenges.
- ✓Proven ability to lead projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
- ✓Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
