About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our cross-dock WMS team, focusing on the core foundational pieces of our Shelf platform that powers warehouse operations. This role involves developing and maintaining mission-critical systems that handle inventory tracking and product fulfillment for ecommerce acceleration.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop and maintain foundational components of the Shelf platform for warehouse inventory and fulfillment management
- →Work with front-end and back-end engineers and operational leaders to build solutions for new projects
- →Proactively fix root causes of recurring issues during on-call rotations to harden the software
- →Tackle backend challenges to maintain and improve system scalability and stability
- →Collaborate across functions to ensure solutions resonate with business needs and deliver maximum value
Requirements
- ✓1+ years of experience preferred, but top-tier new graduates will be considered
- ✓Strong proficiency in modern backend languages like Ruby, Node.js, Java, Python, or Go
- ✓SQL expertise with experience in databases like PostgreSQL
- ✓Knowledge of Ruby on Rails and AWS is advantageous
- ✓Go-getter attitude with passion for learning and taking on new challenges
- ✓Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- ✓Effective at working independently while willing to learn from other engineers
