About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join our team at Perforce Software, Inc. The ideal candidate will be a blend of DevOps, System Admin, and Support Engineer, working with customers to solve system, application, and infrastructure problems.

Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience & related education
- ✓Highly proficient System Administration knowledge
- ✓Advanced understanding of software automation and DevOps systems
- ✓Awareness and understanding of related emerging technologies and practices
- ✓Excitement about working with the Puppet Enterprise and Open-Source community
- ✓Passion for problem-solving
- ✓Technical degree (CS/IT/Eng/ITSec) or equivalent experience
- ✓Strong customer relations & interpersonal skills
- ✓Demonstrated experience with clients and internal resources in face-to-face, telephone, and virtual meetings
- ✓Requires logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions
- ✓Applicants with Puppet Certification are a plus
- ✓Programming skills (Ruby, Python, Perl, PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
- ✓Experience working with Puppet Enterprise or Puppet Open Source
- ✓Windows systems administration experience, including Microsoft PowerShell
- ✓Large scale infrastructure experience
- ✓Knowledge of data center management, systems management, and monitoring, networking & security
- ✓Technical Support experience in an open source/enterprise software company
