About the Role
You will lead the end-to-end technical development of PERGOLUX products, transforming approved briefs into robust outdoor-living solutions. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on engineering to set new quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own and lead the technical product development lifecycle from brief to technical handover
- →Translate product intent into durable engineering solutions, working with drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
- →Lead and develop the Product Development team, ensuring clear ownership and execution
- →Collaborate with international suppliers on development, tooling, and partner onboarding
- →Establish and improve engineering standards to reduce risk and raise product quality
Requirements
- ✓Proven experience leading physical product development for consumer hardware or outdoor living products
- ✓Strong hands-on background in mechanical or structural engineering, ideally with aluminum or steel products
- ✓Track record of end-to-end technical development from concept to manufacturable design
- ✓Deep expertise in technical drawings, BOMs, tolerances, prototyping, testing, and validation
- ✓Pragmatic, high-ownership leadership mindset balancing quality, cost, and speed
