About the Role

Product Design Managers at Perk directly support Product Designers in delivering high-quality work while also working on strategic design projects. This hands-on role involves overseeing the design and delivery of experiences that support the growth and evolution of our platform.

Key Responsibilities

→Directly line manage a team of product designers (typically 3–6 people)
→Lead and support the Finance Experience group, ensuring Product Design contributes to strategic goals
→Oversee complex design initiatives spanning multiple workstreams
→Be hands-on in product design work when needed, partnering with designers to unblock execution
→Develop partnerships with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to elevate the voice of Design
→Effectively communicate design ideas and strategies to stakeholders
→Collaborate with the wider Product Design team to align experiences
→Drive continuous improvement of design operations
→Influence and support the growth of the team through hiring and networking

Requirements

✓8+ years of experience as a Product Designer
✓2+ years of experience leading design teams
✓Experience managing a small team and scaling delivery across multiple workstreams
✓Strong B2B SaaS product experience
✓Excellent collaboration skills and ability to inspire action within your team
✓Solid communication skills, comfortable presenting ideas to multiple stakeholders
✓Special talent for breaking down complexity and creating context
✓Ability to influence product roadmaps working alongside Product Managers and Engineers
✓Experience working in high-growth product companies with an international footprint
