About the Role

We are looking for an AI Controls Solutions Engineer to join Phaidra, a company building AI-powered control systems for industrial automation. This role involves operationalizing and scaling solutions for enterprise data center customers, working closely with Technical Program Managers and Data Scientists.

Key Responsibilities

→Create models of facilities for Phaidra’s product lineup, working with the Data Science team
→Identify and define product requirements based on customer specifications
→Work with the product team to ensure automated tools enable scaling across thousands of customers
→Troubleshoot, triage, and analyze issues with control systems
→Mentor peers and contribute to solving field operations problems

Requirements

✓10-15 years of experience as a controls engineer, programmer, or equivalent
✓Expertise in HVAC and Data Center cooling control methodologies
✓Understanding of applied thermodynamics for cooling systems
✓Experience with industrial and commercial control systems (BACnet, Modbus)
✓Ability to program control systems with PLC, ladder logic, or text/block programming
✓Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts
✓Ability to work independently and manage documentation
