About the Role

We are looking for passionate Software Engineers to join our Engineering team that builds Picus’s innovative cybersecurity product. This role involves working in both cloud and on-prem environments to identify gaps in security controls and offer mitigation options.

Key Responsibilities

→Be part of an engineering team with a strong product development and teamwork culture
→Grow through system-design, refactoring, and clean code practices
→Contribute to code, system-design, features, and the roadmap
→Work with UX and PM teams to impact product usability
→Utilize agile methodologies in a self-organizing team
→Take responsibility and contribute to engineering best practices
→Learn and teach best practices of frameworks and technologies
→Collaborate effectively with team members

Requirements

✓BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field
✓At least 2 years of proven, hands-on experience in software development
✓Solid foundation in Software Design, Data Structures, and Algorithms
✓Experience in software development in at least one programming language (Go preferred)
✓Knowledge on operating systems and network technologies
✓Knowledge of RDBMS (PostgreSQL preferred) and NoSQL database management systems (Elastic preferred)
✓Knowledge on Test Driven Development and Unit Testing
✓Excellent teamwork and communication skills
✓Strong analytical skills and excellent problem-solving abilities
✓Humble, friendly, adaptive, result-oriented personality
✓Preferred hands-on experience with AWS and/or other public cloud computing platforms
✓Preferred experience in DevOps processes and concepts
✓Preferred knowledge in the Cyber Security domain
