About the Role
Pigment is seeking a Junior DevOps/SRE to design and implement infrastructure for their AI-powered business planning platform. This role involves tackling performance challenges, ensuring high availability, and monitoring platform performance for a technically challenging platform that handles large datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- →Define and build infrastructure to address performance challenges, automate processes, and ensure scalability
- →Secure high availability and redundancy of the Pigment platform
- →Monitor platform performance and correctness, spreading observability best practices
- →Participate in incident response
- →Support Pigment's geographical expansion as the company grows
- →Work with the security team on infrastructure and development pipeline implementations
- →Continuously improve development practices and pipelines through automation and efficiency
Requirements
- ✓Experience as a software engineer & DevOps/SRE
- ✓Experience with container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes preferred)
- ✓Experience with public cloud providers (GCP preferred)
- ✓Proven experience in software development with languages such as C#, Java, C++, Golang, Rust, JavaScript, Python, or Ruby
- ✓Experience with observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger)
- ✓Great team spirit with a problem-solving attitude
- ✓Humility and willingness to grow
- ✓Fluency in English
