About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Strategy & Operations Specialist to join Pinterest's Programmatic Sales team. This role involves developing data-driven strategies to accelerate growth in Pinterest's programmatic business vertical, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

→Develop and implement the sales go-to-market strategy for Programmatic Sales, including customer segmentation and annual planning
→Lead analytics and forecasting for Programmatic Sales, designing revenue forecasts and performance scorecards
→Build and manage core reporting dashboards that provide actionable insights into programmatic performance
→Run recurring business reviews for Programmatic Sales, owning the narrative and analyses
→Translate complex data into clear stories and recommendations for Sales and executive stakeholders
→Design and refine sales processes as new programmatic products and partners are launched
→Partner with cross-functional teams to define strategy for Pinterest’s programmatic offering
→Identify and test new growth opportunities through structured experiments
→Drive standardization and scalability across Programmatic Sales

Requirements

✓7+ years of experience in strategy & operations, analytics, or similar fields
✓Direct experience in programmatic or digital advertising with understanding of SSPs/DSPs
✓Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with experience working with large datasets
✓Advanced proficiency in Excel/Sheets and data visualization tools
✓Familiarity with SQL and querying large datasets
✓Experience building metrics frameworks and dashboards
✓Ability to partner with senior sales leaders to define strategy and drive accountability
✓Strong problem-solving skills and comfort with ambiguous situations
✓Excellent communication and storytelling skills
✓Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, engineering, or related field
