About the Role
We are looking for a Fullstack Software Engineer to join Plaid, a company that empowers financial transformation by building tools for developers. This role involves designing and building systems that enable millions of people to connect to their finances.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build across the stack, designing and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs, as well as frontend applications
- →Collaborate with product managers and designers to define requirements and deliver features
- →Maintain high code quality through clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- →Build automated tests and troubleshoot issues in production environments
- →Contribute to system design and architectural decisions
- →Mentor and support the growth of other engineers
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping production systems
- ✓Experience with relational databases like MySQL and microservices
- ✓Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks
- ✓Solid system design, coding, and testing skills across frontend and backend
- ✓Proven ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, and engineering teams
- ✓Experience mentoring or supporting the growth of other engineers
- ✓Comfortable working across product, operations, and data teams
