Network Operations Manager at Playtech

About the Role

We are seeking a Network Operations Manager to lead network teams and drive strategic direction for network operations. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to foster a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

• →Manage and coach two network teams: Network Operations and Network Automation
• →Set strategic direction and long-term roadmap for network operations aligned with product priorities and business needs
• →Foster a high-trust, high-performance culture rooted in operational excellence
• →Oversee daily operations for globally distributed network environments
• →Own queue health, prioritization, escalation pathways, and the full lifecycle of network incidents
• →Lead major incident response, triage, decision-making, and cross-team coordination
• →Ensure infrastructure is audit-ready, secure, patched, monitored, and consistently documented
• →Direct the design and implementation of robust, secure, fault-tolerant global network solutions
• →Oversee and enforce network security standards
• →Implement and optimize monitoring & alerting frameworks
• →Drive modern Network Automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and API-driven operations
• →Build consistent change management processes leveraging automation
• →Partner with Platform, Security, and Infra Engineering teams
• →Work closely with senior leaders
• →Manage vendor partnerships, operational budgets, and technology procurement roadmaps
• →Communicate complex network topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
