About the Role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join Point72’s Technology team. This role involves ensuring the stability and performance of technology infrastructure while supporting various SaaS products and their integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Ensure the stability, scalability, and performance of our technology infrastructure.
- →Support and maintain a range of vendor SaaS products and their integrations.
- →Provide production support, addressing user inquiries and resolving issues.
- →Monitor and manage production and UAT runtimes, identifying problems and implementing fixes.
- →Assist in the execution of software development projects.
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise distributed systems.
- →Take ownership of issues and tasks, tracking progress to completion.
- →Demonstrate versatility by adapting to new systems, including legacy and SaaS products.
Requirements
- ✓Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- ✓10+ years of experience in the financial service industry supporting enterprise distributed systems.
- ✓Proficiency in SQL coding and debugging, as well as shell scripting.
- ✓Familiarity with SDLC best practices, configuration management, agile development practices, cloud platforms, and DevOps tools.
- ✓Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- ✓A client-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality support and solutions.
- ✓Experience with monitoring and alerting for enterprise systems.
