About the Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer, Production Engineering to join Point72’s Technology team. This role involves improving IT infrastructure and harnessing open-source solutions to support trading systems.

Key Responsibilities

→Design, develop and maintain high-performance, multi-asset trading systems and supporting infrastructure
→Build reliable, scalable, and performant software used directly by investment professionals
→Partner closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
→Improve system stability, scalability, and observability in a production trading environment

Requirements

✓3 to 8 years of software engineering experience
✓Proficiency in Java or Kotlin
✓Experience working with real-time or event-driven systems
✓Familiarity with Linux, networking fundamentals, and production support practices
✓Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment
✓Commitment to the highest ethical standards
