About the Role
Poshmark is seeking an Android Intern to join our rapidly growing multiplatform social fashion marketplace. This role involves developing new user experiences and solving difficult problems to improve user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop product features that delight the Poshmark community
- →Work with the product and design team to understand and iterate on feature requirements
- →Build development stack, programming and software design skills
- →Write high quality and maintainable code and test cases
- →Learn best practices and design patterns for software development
Requirements
- ✓Strong foundation in computer science principles, data structures, algorithms, and mobile software design
- ✓Basic experience with Android development using Kotlin and Java
- ✓Familiarity with Android Studio, common software design patterns (MVVM, MVC, MVP), and activity/fragment management
- ✓Knowledge of RESTful web services and integrating them into mobile applications
- ✓Understanding of version control systems such as Git
- ✓Exposure to Android lifecycle management, dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger), and Kotlin coroutines
- ✓Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and contribute to technical discussions
