About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to join Postman's Test Automation, Performance & Monitoring team. This role involves engineering the backbone of API reliability and helping organizations build large-scale distributed systems reliably.

Key Responsibilities

→Understand the vision and bigger picture of Postman and ensure the team fully understands how their work fits into the larger scheme of things
→Grow and develop teams, drive conversations with engineers on career development, and align their growth with long-term vision and business needs
→Own and drive the engineering/technical strategy for the team, deliver business-critical initiatives in a specified timeline
→Participate in the end-to-end recruiting process, hiring, and on-boarding exceptional engineering talent
→Define, measure, and own key metrics for the performance of functional areas
→Identify broader problems and provide multi-quarter roadmaps to the team
→Collaborate with peers in Product, Design, and Engineering to craft building blocks, guidelines, and standards
→Be well-versed in S/W architecture and design, participate in design and code reviews
→Ensure End User Experience, Performance, Security, and High availability of the product
→Be the custodian of operational and customer excellence
→Provide measurable OKRs for the team and promote a culture of real-time employee feedback
→Recognize and celebrate individual engineers' achievements

Requirements

✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science-related field or equivalent experience
✓Min. 7 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
✓3 years of experience in a technical leadership role
✓2+ years of experience in people management
✓Experience building microservice architectures
✓Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
