About the Role

Planned Parenthood Federation of America seeks a skillful and imaginative Senior Creative Director to lead creative vision for their brands and campaigns. This role will oversee creative direction, quality, and execution of all creative assets while leading brand campaigns and advocacy initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

→Act as a creative visionary for PPFA, PPAF, and PP Votes brands
→Oversee day-to-day creative direction and execution of all creative assets
→Lead conceptualization and development of brand campaigns and advocacy initiatives
→Serve as lead steward of the visual brand, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines
→Provide creative expertise to the National Director of Creative and Video
→Collaborate with leadership to set and execute shared goals
→Present creative concepts to leadership and stakeholders
→Recommend and oversee agency vendors for content creation
→Directly supervise Creative team members, providing guidance and mentorship
→Develop creative strategy into actionable executions
→Ensure delivery of high-quality creative across all media
→Evolve Planned Parenthood’s visual identity and brand guidelines
→Creative direct photo and video shoots
→Provide creative direction for electoral work
→Keep abreast of creative trends

Requirements

✓12+ years of experience in creative leadership role
✓7+ years managing Creative staff
✓Bachelor’s degree in Design or relevant field
✓Excellent creative portfolio with strong typographic and conceptual skills
✓Experience executing creative tied to strategic business results
✓Experience working within and shaping brand guidelines
✓Ability to manage multiple projects, team needs, and deadlines
✓Experience managing staff and inspiring their work
✓Excellent collaboration skills across divisions and functions
✓Experience representing BIPOC communities, young people, and LGBTQ+ audiences preferred
✓Experience working in a non-profit federated model preferred
✓High-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite required
✓Travel: up to 25% domestic
