About the Role
We are looking for a Data Product Manager to join Precision Medicine Group in building a unified enterprise data platform for healthcare and life sciences analytics. This role will serve as the connective tissue between the Data Hub and its consumers, responsible for managing the intake process, defining data products, and maintaining the Data Hub roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own the Intake and Prioritisation Process: Design and operate a unified intake process for all data requests across the enterprise
- →Define Data Products with Clarity and Precision: Translate business requirements into well-specified data product definitions
- →Manage the Data Hub Roadmap: Own the 12-18 month roadmap for the Data Hub, balancing near-term delivery commitments with longer-term strategic initiatives
- →Lead Discovery and Requirements Engineering: Lead discovery sessions with business stakeholders and technical teams for complex requests
- →Establish and Monitor SLAs: Define service-level agreements for data products and work with engineering to ensure they are met
- →Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary interface between the Data Hub and its consumers
- →Drive Adoption and Value Realization: Track adoption metrics, gather feedback, and ensure that what we build solves problems
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, engineering, computer science, health informatics, or equivalent)
- ✓4/5+ years in product management, technical program management, or a related role
- ✓2+ years working with data platforms, analytics products, or data infrastructure
- ✓Experience in life sciences, healthcare or pharmaceuticals
- ✓Proven ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholder groups
- ✓Track record of shipping data products or features that were adopted and created measurable business value
- ✓Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and product management tooling (Jira)
