About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join Promethean, a global leader in edtech. This role will support the sales team with technical expertise in AV, IT, and communications integration.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead technical aspects of project-based sales opportunities
- →Work with partners on technical aspects of project-based sales
- →Ensure customer networks are compatible with our solutions
- →Collaborate with IT and network administrators to integrate our products
- →Train sales personnel in AV, communications, and IT
- →Support sales team in rolling out solutions for the education market
- →Provide onsite and remote technical training sessions
- →Develop and deliver Certified Installer Training courses
- →Create support resources and technical documentation
- →Present at sales events on technical capabilities
Requirements
- ✓Sound knowledge and experience of Cisco networks, Microsoft, and Apple operating systems
- ✓Expertise in wireless networking solutions, including Bonjour/Multicast
- ✓Experience with wireless mirroring protocols like Airplay
- ✓Knowledge of enterprise applications and Active Directory integration
- ✓Working knowledge of Android operating systems
- ✓Strong customer interface experience
- ✓Well-developed interpersonal skills
- ✓Presentation skills
- ✓High travel availability from North Dakota, Texas, CA, and WA
